Finally… The Vision Becomes Reality

After three and a half years of planning, patience, and perseverance, we’re incredibly proud to share some exciting news:

Contigo Cerritos™ is now fully permitted.

For many people, permits may sound like a technical milestone. For us, it represents something much more personal. It marks the moment when an idea that lived in our hearts—and on countless sketches, meetings, and site visits—can finally begin to take physical form.

When we first discovered this remarkable stretch of coastline between Cerritos Beach and Pescadero, we felt something special immediately. The meeting of desert hills, golden sand, and endless Pacific horizons creates a setting that feels both expansive and deeply grounding. We knew right away that if we were ever going to build here, it had to be done thoughtfully.

That commitment—to honor the land and build something that belongs to this place—guided every step of the process.

Over the past three and a half years we have worked closely with architects, engineers, environmental consultants, federal and local authorities to ensure that Contigo Cerritos™ meets the highest standards of design, sustainability, and responsible development. It hasn’t always been easy, and it certainly hasn’t been fast, but that was never the goal.

The goal was to do it right.

One of the things we’re most proud of is the forward-thinking infrastructure built into the project, including on-site water generation, designed so the community does not draw from the region’s limited natural water resources. In an area experiencing rapid growth, we believe developments must be part of the solution, not the problem.

Equally important to us is the scale of the project. Contigo Cerritos™ is intentionally small and low profile, set across nearly two acres of oceanfront land. This allows space to remain open, views to remain protected, and the experience of living here to feel calm, uncrowded, and deeply connected to nature.

For us, this project has always been more than real estate.

It’s a vision for a kind of coastal living that feels intentional—where design respects the landscape, neighbors become friends, and sunsets are still something you stop to watch.

Now that we have the permits in hand, the next chapter begins. Construction will move forward, and slowly but surely, the community we’ve imagined will begin to take shape.
